Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy concludes

Doha: The Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy tournament for men and women was concluded at Al Ersal pitch in Onaiza on Saturday.

Thailand claimed Men’s title after beating Bahrain 17-5 in the final match. Kazakhstan took the third place after a 36-5 victory over Afghanistan.

In Women’s event, UAE won the title after defeated India 36-5 in the final match while Iran finished third.

Team Qatar claimed the 6th place in men’s event after their 14-19 defeat at the hands of India on Saturday.
