Team Qatar to take on Sri Lankan in Davis Cup on Wednesday

Phnom Penh, July 9 (QNA) - Qatari men’s tennis team will face its Sri Lankan counterparts at the start of its campaign in the 2024 Davis Cup Tennis Championships for the Asia-Oceania Group IV, held in Cambodia.

The Qatari team play in the first group, which includes Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan and the UAE, while the second includes Cambodia, Kuwait, Iraq and Myanmar, and the first and second from each group qualify for the semi-finals.

The Qatari team concluded a two-week training camp in Thailand, during which it conducted technical and physical training in preparation for the competitions.
