Qatar’s Shams wins Bronze in ILCA4 Sailing at Abu Dhabi Championship

ABU DHABI –– Thani Khalid Shams of Team Qatar showcased a remarkable performance to secure the bronze medal in the ILCA 4 sailing category at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Open Sailing Championship, held over two days.

The event brought together  more than 110 sailors , representing teams from Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, Singapore, and the host nation, the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Rashid Majed Al Sulaiti, President of the Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation (QSRF), applauded Shams' achievement and expressed gratitude to the Qatar Olympic Committee for its ongoing support of the federation.
