Team Qatar finish in second place at Arab Volleyball Championship
MANAMA - Team Qatar claimed the runner-up place of the 23rd Arab Men’s Volleyball Championship 2024 , after suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of hosts Bahrain in the final match held in Manama , Bahrain on Sunday.
Most notably, Team Qatar advanced to the final showdown after defeating Tunisia 3-1 in Friday’s semifinal game, while hosts Bahrain secured a 3-0 victory over Oman to reach the final game on Friday.
The championship brought together eight teams including Oman, Iraq, Tunisia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.
