Team Qatar Golfers clinch third place at Arab Championship in UAE

DOHA -  The Qatari national golf team secured third place in the 43rd edition of the Arab Golf Championship for Men, held in the UAE at Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman, with the participation of 12 countries. Qatar earned the bronze medal with a total of 643 strokes over the three-day competition.

Morocco clinched the championship title, taking the gold medal with an impressive 612 strokes. The host team, the UAE, finished second with a total of 638 strokes, securing the silver medal.

Fahad Nasser Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Qatar Golf Association, emphasized the significance of the Arab Golf Championship as one of the most competitive tournaments in the Arab region. He noted that winning the bronze medal reflects the team's consistency and adds to their previous successes, including bronze medals in Bahrain in 2012 and Oman in 2016.
