Exciting matches in School Olympic Program Tournament

DOHA – The excitement continues to build in the fourth edition of the School Olympic Program Ramadan Tournament, hosted at Qatar University’s premier sports arenas. With 32 public and private schools competing, the tournament has delivered thrilling performances and intense rivalries.

The second day of action saw gripping matchups in Groups 3 and 4. In Group 3, Abdullah bin Ali Al-Misnad Secondary School showcased their dominance, securing a 3-1 victory over Al-Furqan Private School before edging out Cairo Language School 2-1. 

Meanwhile, Khalifa Secondary Scool put on a commanding display, overpowering Cairo Language School 4-1, though they later fell to Al-Furqan Private School 3-0. The group also featured a tightly contested goalless draw between Abdullah bin Ali Al-Misnad Secondary and Khalifa Secondary, while Cairo Language School clinched a hard-fought 1-0 win against Al-Furqan Private School.

In Group 4, Ahmed bin Hanbal Secondary School delivered two stellar victories, outclassing West Virginia Academy 4-0 before edging Al-Wakrah Secondary School 3-2 in a nail-biting encounter. 

Meanwhile, Global Academy International – Muaither proved their strength with a thrilling 5-4 triumph over Ahmed bin Hanbal Secondary and a hard-fought 5-3 win against Al-Wakrah Secondary. West Virginia Academy also made their mark, securing a 2-1 victory over Al-Wakrah Secondary before sealing a dramatic 32 win against Global Academy International – Muaither.

With the competition heating up, the battle for supremacy in the School Olympic Program Ramadan Tournament promises even more action-packed clashes in the coming days.
