Doha: The West Asia Volleyball Association has officially unveiled the logo for the opening edition of the West Asia Beach Volleyball Championship for men and women, scheduled to take place in Doha from May 7 to 10. The event will feature 19 teams representing seven Arab nations from the region, with matches hosted at Al Gharrafa Beach Courts.
The launch of the official logo comes as part of the tournament’s final organizational preparations. Considered one of the most prominent regional events in beach volleyball, the championship is set to showcase high levels of athleticism and regional talent. Group placements will be based on official rankings and points issued by the West Asia Volleyball Association. In the event of equal points or lack of classification, group allocation will be determined by a draw.
Qatar will participate in both the men’s and women’s competitions with three teams each. The men’s teams include pairings of Mahmoud Essam and Saif Al-Majid, Mahdi Samoud and Abdullah Nassim, and Mohammed Al-Sharshani and Mohammed Ehab.
