Qatar Set to participate in Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in South Korea
Doha: Qatar is gearing up to compete in the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will take place this June in Jincheon, South Korea, featuring the continent’s top athletes in both the men’s and women’s categories.
Representing Qatar in the men’s events will be gymnast Rakan Al Harith, while Salma Nasser and Lujain Attiya will take part in the women’s competition. The men’s events are scheduled from June 5 to 8, followed by the women’s events from June 12 to 15.
Ali Al Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation, emphasized that this participation forms part of the federation’s ongoing strategy to develop the technical capabilities of Qatari athletes and ensure their involvement in major continental and international championships.
Qatar’s presence in the tournament underlines the nation’s growing investment in gymnastics and its commitment to competing at the highest levels, both in Asia and globally.
