Qatar Reaches Semi-finals of 2025 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
Manama - Qatar volleyball team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2025 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship after defeating Vietnam in the quarterfinals of the ongoing tournament in Bahrain, which runs until June 24, with 11 teams taking part.
The Qatari team defeated Vietnam 3-2 in today's match at Isa bin Rashid Arena in Bahrain.
The team lost the first set 29-31 but regained its strength in the second and third sets to win them 25-21 and 25-15. Vietnam won the fourth set 25-22, but Qatar managed to win the fifth deciding set 12-15.
With this victory, Qatar will meet Pakistan, the runner-up of the last edition, in the semi-finals on Monday.
