Group Stage Concludes at School Olympic Program Ramadan Tournament

Doha:  Matches in the 19th edition of the Secondary Schools Ramadan Tournament, held under the School Olympic Program, continued at Qatar University’s pitches, as the group stage officially concluded following the completion of Groups Seven and Eight.

In Group Seven, MES Indian School was awarded a 3–0 victory over Al Sheehaniya Preparatory and Secondary School by decision of the organizing committee. Global Academy Al Waab played out a goalless draw (0–0) with Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim School.

Global Academy Al Waab was also awarded a 3–0 win over Al Sheehaniya Preparatory and Secondary School by decision of the organizing committee.

MES Indian School secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim School. Meanwhile, Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim School was awarded a 3–0 win over Al Sheehaniya Preparatory and Secondary School by decision of the organizing committee. Global Academy Al Waab defeated MES Indian School 2–0.

At the conclusion of Group Seven, Global Academy Al Waab topped the standings with 7 points, followed by MES Indian School in second place with 6 points. Both teams advanced to the Round of 16.

In Group Eight, Jassim bin Hamad Secondary School recorded a 6–1 victory over Third Assalam School. Lycée Français Bonaparte defeated Hassan bin Thabit Secondary School 3–1, then went on to secure a 6–1 win over Jassim bin Hamad Secondary School.

Hassan bin Thabit Secondary School claimed a 3–0 victory over Third Assalam School and later defeated Jassim bin Hamad Secondary School 3–2. Lycée Français Bonaparte also beat Third Assalam School 3–1.

Lycée Français Bonaparte topped Group Eight after winning all of its matches to finish the group stage with a perfect record.
