Doha; The competitions of the FEI Group VII Final for Children, Juniors, and Young Riders continued today at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, with the participation of more than 100 male and female riders representing countries from across the region. The event offers a total prize pool of €318,000.
The competitions opened with a local class for the Children category at a height of 110cm, where rider Alia Al Khater secured first place with a time of 25.34 seconds aboard “Faheen.” Mohammed Hamza Al Kuwari finished second in 26.05 seconds riding “Haneen,” while Shreida Nasser Al Kaabi claimed third place with a time of 27.58 seconds on “Cranchief.”
In the Juniors class at 120cm, 18 riders qualified for the next stage of the individual competition. In the team event, the United Arab Emirates claimed first place, followed by Saudi Arabia in second, and Kuwait in third.
The Young Riders class at 130cm saw 14 riders advance to the next individual round. The team competition delivered intense action, with the UAE securing first place, Qatar finishing second, and Saudi Arabia taking third.
In the final event, UAE rider Omar Abdulaziz Al Marzouqi claimed the Under-25 Grand Prix title at a height of 145cm after clocking 50.67 seconds aboard “Bally Martini.” His compatriot Abdullah Hamad Al Karbi finished second, while Saudi rider Abdulaziz Fahad Al Eid took third place.
