In the championship final, Indonesia claimed the title with a straight-sets victory over South Korea. Hosts India secured third place after defeating Bahrain 3-1, while Kazakhstan finished fifth by overcoming Thailand by the same scoreline. Oman claimed ninth place with a victory over New Zealand, who finished tenth.
Meanwhile, the draw for the second West Asia Men's Volleyball Championship, held today in Muscat, placed Qatar in Group A alongside Kuwait and Syria.
The tournament, which will be hosted by Oman from July 12 to 22, will feature seven teams divided into two groups. Group A consists of Qatar, Kuwait, and Syria, while Group B includes hosts Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Lebanon.
Qatar will enter the competition as defending champions after winning the inaugural edition in Manama in 2025, defeating Bahrain 3-2 in the final.
