Information about Khadoom  

Through the Khadoom Application (“Application”), the Qatar Olympic Committee aims to provide improved service to its employees, as it includes many services provided by various platforms. The application that is free of cost offers an advantage in completing transactions in the shortest possible time from a single window.  

This policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, protected, and shared when you are using the Qatar Olympic Committee application (hereinafter referred to as "The Committee"). 

 

The privacy policies cover use of the Application to which is bound by the e-Government Policies of the State of Qatar  (per Council of Ministers' Resolution No. (18) of 2010 on the Implementation of e-Government Policies) and Qatar’s Data Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) concerning the privacy and protection of personal data.  

 

By using this Application, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our “Terms and Conditions” and “Privacy Policy”, which are available in both Arabic and English. In the event of any difference in interpretation between the Arabic and English text and any translation thereof, the Arabic text prevails.  


Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them, unless the context indicates otherwise:

  • Committee: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and its subsidiaries.
  • User: Any Employee uses the application.
  • Personal Data: Any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, either directly or indirectly.
  • Processing: Any operation performed on personal data, whether by automated or manual means, including but not limited to collection, recording, storage, alteration, use, transmission, deletion, or dissemination. 

Consent: Any explicit expression by the user indicating their voluntary and informed agreement to the processing of their personal data for specific purposes. 


Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all personal data collected or processed about committee’s employees to proceed their requests or to check their data within the State of Qatar, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (13) of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data. It is required that QOC employees maintain confidentiality in accordance with applicable data protection laws. 

 

This Privacy Policy (together with our Terms and Conditions) sets out the basis on which personal data are collected and processed. This Privacy Policy can be changed over time to comply with law or to meet our changing business requirements. 

 

"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. By using this Application, you acknowledge your full agreement to the QOC’s use of all your personal data for the purpose of the work of this application, and that you grant QOC full and unconditional permission to use this information. 


Data Collected 

The Committee collects and processes the following personal data, including but not limited to: 

  • Personal Data that will be used for deployment.
  • Job Data that will serve the application.  

All Data had been collected already by the committee and is being used within the application to proceed or show them.

This Application may contain links to enable you to visit third-party websites, mobile sites and mobile applications which are governed by their own privacy policies. Please note that we do not have any control over these and are not responsible or liable for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide whilst visiting those sites. 


Data Sharing

The Committee may share personal data, where necessary, with the following entities: 

  • Authorized Committee staff who will process the data and requests.
  • Competent governmental authorities upon official request
  • Licensed medical providers in case of emergencies 

 

Personal data shall not, under any circumstances, be sold or rented to any third party. 


Data Security and Retention 

  • The Committee shall implement technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data from unauthorized access, unlawful processing, loss, or damage. 

Personal data shall be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. 


Users Rights 

The users shall have the following rights: 

  • Not using the application, and uses the Internal platform instead.
  • Request access, rectification, review of processing, of the Personal Data that the committee processes at any time connecting QOC’s Human Resources and Administration Support department.

The Committee reserves the right to amend this Policy whenever necessary. Any updates shall be published on the official website and shall take effect as of the date of publication, unless otherwise stated.
