Aichi-Nagoya 2026- Team Qatar athlete Omar Daoud qualified for the men’s 110m hurdles final at the 20th Asian Games – Aichi-Nagoya 2026, currently taking place in Japan.
Daoud produced an impressive performance in yesterday’s heats, clocking 13.63 seconds to finish second in his heat despite competing in challenging rainy conditions and secure his place in today’s final.
Daoud will be looking to continue his strong form and challenge for a medal in what promises to be a highly competitive final, as he aims to deliver another strong performance for Team Qatar at Aichi-Nagoya.
Team Qatar’s Ibrahim Abbas and Mohammed Waheed qualified for the men’s 1500m final at the 20th Asian Games – Aichi-Nagoya 2026, currently taking place in Japan.
Ibrahim Abbas topped his heat with a time of 3:45.54, securing his place in the final and strengthening Team Qatar’s hopes of challenging for a medal.
Mohammed Waheed also produced a strong performance, completing the race in 3:45.83 to finish fourth in his heat and book his place in the final.
The Team Qatar duo impressed with their performances yesterday and will return for tomorrow’s final, looking to maintain their strong form and challenge for a place on the podium despite the strength of the field.
Team Qatar’s Ahmed Djibrine finished sixth in the men’s shot put final at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
Jebreen produced a solid performance in a highly competitive final, recording a best throw of 19.00 metres to finish sixth overall.
Team Qatar sprinter Ammar Ibrahim finished fourth in the men’s 400m final at the 20th Asian Games – Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Ibrahim clocked 45.35 seconds to finish fourth overall. He had qualified for the final after finishing second in his heat with a time of 45.31 seconds.
