Tashkent - The 2023 World Judo Championships flag was handed over to the state of Qatar, the next host country of the event at a momentous handover ceremony in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The ceremony was held during the visit of the Organizing Committee of the World Judo Championship - Doha 2023 to the Uzbek capital to attend the ongoing World Championship.
Eid Al Muraikhi, Chairman of the Sports Committee at Judo Championship - Doha 2023 said “It is an absolute honour for us to receive the World Judo Championships flag.
