Al Rumaihi to participate in Triathlon event

Palembang, September 01, 2018- Qatar's Ibrahim Al Rumaihi will participate in Men's triathlon event at the 2018 Asian Games to be held on Saturday.

The event will begin with 1500m swimming race to followed by a 40km cycling race and a 10 km running race.

Qatar's Ibrahim Al Rumaihi expressed his pleasure to represent Al Adaam for the first time in the Asian Games, pointing out that he had made extensive preparations in Switzerland for one month under the supervision of his Canadian coach Matthew.

In the meantime, Qatar's Waleed Al Sharshani ended the sailing competition at the Asian Games by finishing ninth in the laser Standard category.

In the laser category 4.7, Qatari Abdulrahman Al Nasr ended the Asian competitions in 14th place.
