Doha: Argentina reached to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final after beating Croatia 3-0 in the semi-final played at Lusail stadium in front of 88,966 fans.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring from the spot in the 34th minute, before Julian Alvarez added two goals in the 39th and 69th minutes. Argentina largely contained Croatia, preventing their opponent from making any meaningful threat.
