Beach Volleyball Coordination Meeting Kicks Off Ramadan Championship Preparations

Doha – The Qatar Olympic Committee held a technical coordination meeting on Tuesday morning to finalize preparations for the Beach Volleyball Event in the QOC  Ramadan Tournament.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Salah Al-Saadi, Assistant Director of Sports Events Management, Mr. Abdulaziz Abdullah Ghanem, Head of Sports Activities, Mr. Mana Ahmed Al-Jaal, Event Director and Several representatives from various Qatar Olympic Committee departments.

The Beach Volleyball Event, featuring six participating departments, will run from March 15 to March 18. The teams are divided into two groups: Group A: Sports Events Department (defending champions), President’s Office, Sports Affairs Department. Group B: Procurement & Logistics Support, General Secretariat, Human Resources & Administrative Affairs.

The Lusail Shooting Range will host the 16th edition of the QOC Ramadan tournament  from March 9 to March 18, 2025, in collaboration with the Qatar Shooting & Archery Association.

The tournament  features a variety of competitions and activities, including: Sports Competitions: Shooting (men & women), padel, and men’s beach volleyball. Accompanying Events: A 4 km cycling race, entertainment activities, and traditional games. Olympic Museum Participation: An educational Olympic event promoting sports awareness and values.

The tournament  will conclude on March 18, fostering sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a rich Ramadan experience. The Qatar Olympic Committee remains dedicated to promoting sports as a way of life, reinforcing Olympic values, and championing the principles of "Sport for All" and "Sport for Life."
