Curtain comes down on QOC Padel Tournament 2023

Doha: The QOC Padel Tournament 2023 was concluded at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex on Sunday.

Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal, Head of the QOC Activities and Programs Section Nasser Al Modahka, Director of Naseem Medical Centre Public Relations Department Wessam Ghassan Diyab and the Tournament Director Abdullah Farag Al Sultan crowned the winners.

Mohamed Saadoun Al Kuwari and Saadoun Mohamed Al Kuwari won family event after beating Khalid Ghanim Al Khelaifi and Fahad Khalid Al Khelaifi in the final match. Ahmed Khalil Al Khaldi and Nawaf Ahmed Al Khaldi finished third.

 Mohamed Al Khenji and Guillem Blasi won the title of Category (A) after beating Sultan Khalfan and Carlos Lobez in the final match.

 Jassim Al Zeyara and Usama Al Muqla claimed the title of Category (B) after beating Abdulaziz Zainal and Mohamed Al Meraikhi in the final match while Tariq Al Owabi and Ali Esmail won the title of Group (C) following their victory over Saadoun Al Kuwari and Abdulrahman Al Bakri in the final match.

Alan Johnson and Saif Talaat hoisted the trophy of (D) Category after beating Musaab Jassim and Yahya Al Shami in the final match.

The Tournament Director Abdulla Farag Al Sultan hailed the success of the QOC Padel Tournament in its fourth edition and thanked the sponsors for their support to the Qatari Sports and to Padel in particular.

Al Sultan said that the QOC organized the inaugural Padel Tournament in lights of its efforts to increase community engagement and sports participation.
