Doha set to host Artistic Gymnastics World Championships

DOHA, September 20, 2018-The Local Organising Committee of the forthcoming 48^th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships-Doha 2018 is meticulously planning various aspects of the first event to be held in the Middle East with great care and in detail.

The world championships to be staged at the Aspire Dome will be held from October 25 to November 3.

Mohammad Saeed Al Misned, Head of the Event Support Committee said that all the sub-committees are working in full swing in preparation for the world championships.

Al Misned added that the participating delegations will start arriving in Doha on October 19 but some delegations may arrive in Doha earlier to hold their training camps in preparation for the event.

Over 700 gymnasts from 85 countries will be seen in action at the world gymnastics, the largest in the tournament's history.
