Qatar U-23 Squad announced for Al Kass International Friendly Championship

Doha: Qatar U-23 head coach Ildio Vale has announced the squad for the Al Kass International U23 Friendly Championship, set to take place in Doha from March 19 to 25. The tournament will feature teams from Croatia, Egypt, Thailand, Australia, and the UAE.

This championship serves as part of Qatar’s preparations for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled for September 2025.

Vale has selected 29 players for the squad including The squad included 29 players: Jassim Al Sharshani, Mohammed Al Ishaq, Mohammed Fawzi (goalkeeper), Noureddine Ibrahim, Issa Al Najjar (Al Ahli), Mubarak Shanan, Rashid Al Abdullah, Ghanem Al Menhali (Al Duhail), Nabil Arfan, Mohammed Hassan (Al Wakrah), Karim Haidar (goalkeeper), Abdulrahman Mohammed, Abdullah Al Otaibi (Al Sadd), Abdul Aziz Hassan, Ahmed Hajanah, Marwan Baramil (Al Shamal), Marwan Sharif, Tamer Bouri (Al Arabi), Sami Mazen (Al Rayyan) (goalkeeper), Ayoub Al Alawi (Al Gharafa), Moaz Al Wadi (Al Shahaniya), Ahmed Riyadh (Al Khor), Mohammed Khaled, Anas Abdulsalam (Calahorra, Spain), Bassam Adel, Tahseen Mohammed (Alcorcon, Spain), Awab Hussein (Cultural, Spain), Ali Mohammed (goalkeeper), and Hassan Al Gharib (Lusail).

The team will hold an internal training camp from March 12 to 25, with daily training sessions leading up to the start of the tournament on March 19.
