BEIRUT – Qatar's taekwondo star Maram Fatnassi settled on runner-up place and took silver medal of women’s 67kg event after losing to Juliana Al Sadeq of Jordan 1-2 on Wednesday in the conclusion of the 2023 Beirut Open Taekwondo Tournament, ranked G1, for the junior category, held in the Lebanese capital of Beirut.
Team Qatar delegation to the event, consisted of players, Saad Al Sulaiti (junior category), Noor Nazar (Youth category), Maram Fatnassi (U-67kg category) and Mohammed Samer Shalaan (U-68kg category).
19 countries competed in the tournament through 117 male and female athletes in the cadet category, 136 in the junior category, and 176 senior category.
