QOC celebrates Olympic Day with community activities at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic And Sports Museum

Doha- The Qatar Olympic Committee ( QOC) has celebrated  the 2022 Olympic Day  during  amazing event  took place at  the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic And Sports Museum in Doha on Thursday.


Team Qatar stars,  Ashraf  Amgad El-Seify,  Abdulla Al-Tamimi and Mubaraka Al Nuaimi have  attended Thursday’s most memorable  Olympic event , which also seen a wide-scale participation from Schools Olympic Program students and athlete Development Pathway (Be an Athlete). 


In this event,   the QOC organized a number of tours and activities to shed lights on  the  museum sections , to showcase the history of sports worldwide, history of Olympic Games, Qatar’s most prominent sport events  and top influencing athletes  in the world. 


Additionally, the museum’s dynamic activities section was opened for public to  showcase more than 18 dynamic and interactive activities to help increasing  participants’ mental and sports skills.


The Olympic Day aims to encourage young age groups category to exercise the sports, learn and explore more about them ,  in a way that will promote the Olympic movement and  instill its  values into the community, a matter that shapes IOC’s most important message  to everyone in this event.


On this occasion, the sport Affairs Department Director, Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber said the Qatar Olympic Committee will remain keen to celebrate all IOC’s annual sport occasions, will spare no effort to bring the community together to mark this amazing day annually, exercise sports and explore a healthier lifestyle of life throughout sport”.


“We will leave no stone unturned to make this Olympic day message reaching every single person, we are truly belief that sport has the power of peace to unify the people and speak to them with the language they understand” Added Mr. Al Jaber.


Qatar rising tennis star, Mubaraka Al Naimi said we are truly grateful to be part of this day at the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum and shared the celebrations with more than 150 students and toured all sections of the museum, which contain a lasting sport legacy of all nations at different sport arenas.

“Qatar is always keen to commemorate all records of  sports memorable moments, today, we had a chance to learn more about the IOC founding day and Qatar Olympic and Sports museum rich galleries” added Al Naimi.
