Doha: Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and President of the Organising Committee of the 4th GCC Games – Doha 2026, crowned the winners of the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay event, which was held today at the Hamad Aquatic Centre.
Team Qatar’s swimmers continued their impressive performances by claiming the gold medal in the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay and setting a new GCC record with a time of 7:29.22 minutes.
Kuwait finished second with a time of 7:45.38 minutes to secure the silver medal, while Saudi Arabia claimed third place and the bronze medal after recording a time of 7:49.07 minutes.
Team Qatar were represented by Ali Tamer, Mohammed Mahmoud, Saadaldin and Emil Fuzaï.
