DOHA : The General Assembly of the Qatar Esports Federation (QESF) has elected Sheikh Nasser Bin Khaled Al Thani President of the QESF for the new term 2024-2028 during a meeting held at the Qatar Olympic Committee Headquarters on Monday.
The General Assembly also elected Mr. Mohammed Eassa Mohammed Al Shriem as the Secretary General, and Sheikha Abeer bint Nooh Al Thani,, Sheikh Turki bin Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Mr. Ali Abdullah Saad Rashid Al Kuwari, and Mr. Saleh Majid Saleh Mubarak Al Khalifi as members of the Board of Directors.
The General Assembly members approved the minutes of the previous meeting and discussed the financial budget report for the federation, the 2023–2030 strategic roadmap, and the 2023–2026 strategic plan.
The members also reviewed the roles and responsibilities of the QESF’s Sports Affairs and Marketing departments, as well as the mechanisms for implementing the esports development project across age groups.
