Team Qatar Concludes Serbia Training Camp Ahead of Arab Table Tennis Championships

Belgrade – The Qatar national table tennis team has concluded its overseas training camp in Belgrade, Serbia, marking an important step in its preparations for the Arab Table Tennis Championships to be held in Morocco next month.

The camp brought together key players Abdullah Abdulwahab, Sultan Al-Kuwari, and Ahmed Eid Qarni, alongside their teammates, under the supervision of Greek head coach Daniel Tsioukas. Over the course of the program, the squad committed to an intensive daily schedule with morning and evening sessions designed to enhance fitness levels, sharpen technical skills, and fine-tune tactical play.

Beyond physical and tactical work, the camp provided the Qatari players with valuable match practice against top European opponents. This exposure not only tested their abilities but also helped strengthen their confidence ahead of the upcoming continental challenge.

The Qatar Table Tennis Association emphasized the importance of the Belgrade camp within the team’s broader preparation plan, highlighting its goal of enabling players to compete at their highest level and push for podium finishes in Morocco.

The national team will now return to Doha for its final phase of training before departing for Morocco to take part in the Arab Championships.
