Team Qatar defeat China in Asian Men's Youth Beach Handball Championship

Bangkok: Team Qatar secured their first victory in the 3rd Asian Men's Youth Beach Handball Championship, defeating China 2-0. The tournament is being held in Bangkok, Thailand until October 25.

Team Qatar had previously faced a setback in their opening match, losing 1-2 to Jordan.

Qatar will also face Thailand in third their match, followed by a game against Iran on Tuesday, and a match against Oman on Wednesday. They will wrap up their participation in the tournament with a final match against Indonesia next Friday.

The tournament features seven teams including Qatar, Oman, Iran, Jordan, China, Indonesia, and Thailand. The top three teams will qualify for the 3rd World Men’s Youth Beach Handball Championship, scheduled to take place in Hammamet, Tunisia, from June 17 to 22, 2025.
