Budapest: Team Qatar booked a place in the quarter-finals of the 33 U18 Basketball World Cup, which is being held over five days in Hungary.
The team, consisting of Azzam Abuisneenah, Fahd Mohammed Al Ojan, Hamad Yassin and Moustapha Ndao, qualified for the quarter-finals after their victory yesterday over Tunisia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the last two rounds of the group stage.
In the quarter-finals today, Qatar will meet with France, and the German team will face their Egyptian counterparts.
