Team Qatar qualify to second round of World Beach Volleyball Championship

Mexico City: Team Qatar duo of Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan qualified to second round of the FIVB World Beach Volleyball Championships in Mexico.

Team Qatar secured their spot in the second round after beating Guatemala and China 2-0. Team Qatar will take on Brazil on Tuesday.

As per the draw held recently, Team Qatar were drawn in group (G) alongside China, Brazil and Guatemala.
