DOHA – Team Qatar suffered a 1-3 defeat at the hands of Kuwait counterparts on Saturday in the preliminary stage of Youth’s West Asian Volleyball championship 2024, which is running from 14th to 25th of August in United Arab Emirates city of Al Ain.
Saturday’s defeat was team Qatar’s second defeat after they lost to Bahrain in the opening match 3-0.
Team Qatar will lock horns against Syria in their third game in the preliminary stage of championship on Tuesday.
Team Qatar is drawn in group A along with Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen and Syria, while group B includes, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon and hosts United Arab Emirates.
