88,966Lusail Stadium is Qatar’s largest sports venue, with a capacity of 88,966 and a distinctive golden façade inspired by traditional Arab craftsmanship. Opened in 2022 as the centerpiece of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, it hosted ten matches, including the final, and later staged the opening match and final of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. The stadium combines a vast cable-net roof with advanced cooling technology and holds a five-star Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) rating. Its long-term legacy plans envisage a multi-use community destination at the heart of Lusail City.
