Doha- The competitions of the QOC Shuttle Challenge 2024 will begin at the indoor hall of Arabi Sports Club on Wednesday. The badminton tournament will be held in cooperation with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation until May 25.
The tournament will feature the participation of 288 players to fight for the top places at boys and girls' singles events under 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 years old in addition boys and girls' doubles events under 15 and 19 years.
On this occasion, Salah Al Saadi, Assistant Director of the QOC Sports Events Department said that the tournament comes in light of the QOC strategy to develop badminton in the state of Qatar and provide the opportunity for the Qatar's national teams and clubs to attract talented athletes.
Al Saadi also thanked the sponsors of the tournament for their commitment to develop sport in state of Qatar and hailed the efforts and contributions of the Qatar Tennis, squash and Badminton Federation and Al Arabi Sports Club to organizing this first edition of the QOC Shuttle Challenge wishing all the best for participating athletes.
